I downloaded the WP Move Plugin, but following this tutorial makes things easier.

Just one thing: as I never migrated WP before, I've spent hours trying to make it work but it didn't. The reason was very simple: I wasn't updating DB_HOST in the wp-config file. iPage hosting requires you to edit that.

Perhaps you could specify that in your tutorial....that is already crystal clear though!

Have a great one!
Dan

Re: Super easy photoshop mockup tutorial

Yeah in CS3 it doesn't work :( you need CS4 at least.

Re: Using Isotope JQuery plugin in WordPress – a better way to implement isotope in WordPress

For people this doesn't work with, try adding jQuery instead of the $ sign

Re: Using Isotope JQuery plugin in WordPress – a better way to implement isotope in WordPress

i want to use categories to filter isotope, so i was following the steps in yr other post ( http://rollyourowncreative.... ) but towards the end (final step) the whole post gets cut off and it appears some kind of error has disrupted the page itself ! i know this is a much more fleshed out version of implementing, but is there any way the other post could be fixed? it seems to be perfect for what i need it to do. thanks for all of yr work!

Re: Using Isotope JQuery plugin in WordPress – a better way to implement isotope in WordPress

any chance we will see this method in a wordpress plugin?

Re: Super easy photoshop mockup tutorial

How if it didn;t work,, I use CS3

Re: How To Move a WordPress Website From One Server to Another in under 10 min.

Hi Dan, WordPress will only be using a single database, of which should have the name from when you set it up, or alternatively you should be able to see the name in your wp-config.php file

Re: How To Move a WordPress Website From One Server to Another in under 10 min.

thanks for the tips. Any ideas? I've attempted css (cursor: hand;) with no luck and as the heading is an h2 tag it defaults to the text bar rather than arrow when hovered. I've also attempted wrapping the question with a link but this has no effect either.

It would be great to have the hand as it is more intuitive for people to click.

Any ideas.

Again, great tut and many thanks for your effort and well written article.
Cheers

Re: Using Isotope JQuery plugin in WordPress – a better way to implement isotope in WordPress

Wow, really nice.
But how to paginate the filter all for huge amount of posts ?

Re: Exploring jQuery : Roll Your Own Smooth Stylish Accordion with jQuery

and here is a new demo of the code on jsfiddle : http://jsfiddle.net/pushpla...

Re: Exploring jQuery : Roll Your Own Smooth Stylish Accordion with jQuery

something I didn't mention explicitly was the function that I used this for, which you may have picked up by looking at the HTML markup and comments, a great application for this style of Accordion, could be an FAQ Page.

Re: Using Isotope JQuery plugin in WordPress – a better way to implement isotope in WordPress

$('.all').click(function(){

 $('select').val("#");
var selector = "*";

 $('#content').isotope({ filter: selector });

 });

});

That's how the "all" button on my bedroomwall demo works.
